With the equipment now on-site, technical teams are moving to integrate the electrolyzer into existing infrastructure. The process involves precise positioning, mechanical and electrical connections, and rigorous commissioning. While the physical delivery represents a significant de-risking event, the project remains in a construction phase that requires successful testing before operational output can ramp up.
This infrastructure expansion arrives as Charbone reports growing commercial momentum. The company recently disclosed preliminary second-quarter gas income of approximately C$0.5 million, a 155% increase over the first quarter. This revenue stream, derived from the Phase 1A plant and industrial gas partnerships, provides a foundation for the company’s broader strategy: creating an integrated platform that combines clean hydrogen with helium and oxygen supply chains. By building out these capacities in tandem with existing revenue-generating operations, Charbone is attempting to move beyond early-stage development toward a sustained industrial gas platform.
