DDH Home Organizing Targets National Expansion via Franchise FastLane

After a decade of building a multi-million-dollar organizing and move management firm in New York, the mother-daughter duo behind DDH has signed with Franchise FastLane to scale their operations nationally. The partnership aims to replicate their empathetic, client-centered business model in new markets across the country.

Founded by Kate Pawlowski and Ann Lightfoot, DDH evolved from a spontaneous collaboration during a friend's move into a specialized luxury service provider. Pawlowski brings a background in psychology to the firm, while Lightfoot contributes experience from her previous career as a doula. Together, they have cultivated a model that focuses on reducing the stress of life transitions, employing a team of 12 to provide concierge-level organization and decluttering.

The business has already secured its initial franchise agreement, covering four territories on Long Island. By joining forces with Franchise FastLane, the founders gain access to strategic coaching, marketing resources, and a proprietary technology stack designed to support long-term growth. Heather Harris, CEO of Franchise FastLane, noted that the brand's success is rooted in its focus on family and empathy, qualities they intend to preserve as they recruit new entrepreneurs into the fold.

Franchise FastLane, which has facilitated over 10,000 franchise unit awards since 2017, will manage the development process for the brand. This includes territory oversight and lead registration, allowing Pawlowski and Lightfoot to maintain their commitment to high-touch service while expanding their footprint beyond the New York metropolitan area.
