The campaign incentivizes participation by offering donors who contribute $2 or more the opportunity to apply for five personal Dream Grants, each valued at up to $250,000. These funds are earmarked to bolster the work of Selah Freedom, an organization that has served over 7,500 survivors and trained more than 95,000 people since 2021 to identify the early warning signs of exploitation.
According to the International Labour Organization, human trafficking generates an estimated $173 billion annually. Many survivors supported by Selah Freedom report the onset of exploitation between the ages of 12 and 14. Laurie Swink, CEO and co-founder of Selah Freedom, emphasized that while the organization remains committed to rescuing survivors, the primary goal is a future where such intervention becomes unnecessary. Those seeking assistance can contact the organization's dedicated helpline at 1-888-8-FREE-ME.
