N3XT Breaks Bank Walls with Institutional-Grade Digital Dollar Token

Wyoming-based blockchain bank N3XT is dismantling the friction of legacy financial systems by expanding its N3XT Digital Dollar (NDD) beyond internal accounts. The move allows businesses to conduct 24/7, instant B2B settlements on a public chain, bridging the gap between traditional bank protections and the speed of cryptocurrency.

Current business payments often force a choice between tokenized deposits trapped within private bank ledgers or stablecoins that lack institutional safeguards. By issuing NDD as an ERC-20 token, N3XT enables businesses to transfer funds to non-custodial blockchain addresses globally without relying on multi-day clearing cycles. The token maintains a 1-to-1 backing through cash and short-term U.S. Treasuries, ensuring the safety of reserves while leveraging Ethereum for smart contract programmability.

Founder and CEO Jeffrey Wallis argues that rigid settlement schedules are obsolete. The system replaces reactive security measures with a proactive allowlist, pre-screening addresses to mitigate risks. CTO Aurélien Bonnel emphasizes that this on-chain banking infrastructure offers treasurers real-time balance tracking and transaction finality. As the platform opens access to non-bank customers, it aims to reduce cross-border costs significantly, transforming how capital moves across international borders.
