National DCP Hits Milestone with 1,000th Dunkin' Store Project

In Akron, Ohio, a local Dunkin' renovation has marked a significant operational milestone for National DCP, the supply chain giant managing logistics for 10,000 quick-service restaurants. The project represents the 1,000th store opening or remodel completed under the company’s specialized consolidated delivery and installation program.

Launched in January 2023, the New Store & Remodel Solution handles the complex logistics of equipment procurement, millwork, and stainless fabrication for franchisees. By centralizing these services, the Atlanta-based company aims to reduce construction costs and streamline the often-disjointed process of launching or updating a restaurant site.

Franchisee Craig Anton, who received the 1,000th delivery, has utilized the program for over 20 projects. According to Les Karel, executive vice president of restaurant solutions, the program’s growth relies heavily on this type of direct operator feedback. The company, which manages a $3 billion supply chain, leverages its scale to simplify project execution for members, moving beyond the role of a traditional vendor to act as a core strategic partner in franchisee expansion.
