For many, navigating a cardiology appointment or interpreting concerning lab results involves a search for clarity that generic AI models often fail to provide. With over 80 percent of Function members presenting at least one biomarker outside the optimal range, the demand for personalized context has become critical. The new integration allows members to feed 160-plus lab markers and longitudinal health history into their preferred AI interfaces, enabling responses tailored to their unique biomarker patterns.
Ziad Sultan, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Function, noted that while AI has become a common tool for daily tasks, it has historically lacked the biological context required for meaningful health guidance. By bridging this gap, the company seeks to move past the limitations of static health data. This rollout expands on the company's existing Private AI Chat, providing users the flexibility to analyze their own health trends across heart function, metabolism, and hormone levels without being confined to a single proprietary ecosystem.
