BD Taps Edwards Lifesciences Veteran as Chief Quality Officer

Sorsher joins BD with over three decades of industry experience, most recently overseeing quality strategy at Edwards Lifesciences. His mandate involves guiding the company’s quality systems to support ongoing innovation and performance while prioritizing patient safety. He succeeds Jeff Silvestri, who is set to retire in October after a 25-year tenure at the firm.

During his time at BD, Silvestri played a significant role in developing the company’s quality infrastructure.
