Vogenx Raises $81.3 Million in Nasdaq IPO Led by JonesTrading

Vogenx, a biopharmaceutical firm targeting metabolic disorders, successfully debuted on the Nasdaq Capital Market after closing an $81.3 million initial public offering. JonesTrading served as the sole book-running manager for the transaction, which saw 6.25 million shares priced at $13.00 each, hitting the top of the company's expected range.

The offering, which officially closed on August 13, 2026, provides Vogenx with fresh capital to advance its clinical pipeline. The company focuses on therapeutics for serious metabolic conditions, including gastroparesis and PBH. CEO James Green noted that the infusion of funds marks a transition into a new phase for the organization, enabling sustained development of its proprietary drug candidates.

JonesTrading executives emphasized that the deal highlights their expanding footprint in healthcare investment banking. Alan Hill, CEO of JonesTrading, credited the outcome to the firm’s ability to connect innovative biotechnology companies with institutional investors. According to Moe Cohen, Head of Investment Banking at Jones, the success of the offering reflects the firm's deep-rooted connections within the biotech sector and its capacity to manage complex market entries.
