Insight Global Pours $100 Million Into Employee Development

Since 2021, Atlanta-based Insight Global has funneled over $100 million into a comprehensive training ecosystem. The investment, aimed at refining technical and leadership skills, now supports more than 5,500 employees annually, positioning the company’s internal development programs as a primary engine for its consulting and AI business strategies.

At the core of this initiative sits Insight Global University (IGU), a dedicated hub at Campus 244 in Dunwoody, Georgia. The facility serves as the starting point for the "IG Way," a mandatory onboarding program that new hires attend three weeks into their tenure. This foundational training, which recently earned a 2026 Training MVP Award from Training Magazine, is designed to instill the company’s culture while preparing staff for roles ranging from entry-level recruiting to advanced solutions architecture.

Beyond basic onboarding, the company has expanded its reach through the "Legacy" leadership program, which launched in 2025. This enterprise-wide effort held a global conference for over 1,200 leaders, replacing traditional agendas with workshops led by internal subject matter experts. These sessions focus on high-performance coaching, execution, and navigating the integration of emerging technologies into existing business workflows.

The scale of this commitment is reflected in the company's annual output, which includes over 200 in-person events and a library of 60,000 e-learning courses. According to CEO Bert Bean, the strategy prioritizes adaptability and long-term career growth over short-term gains, viewing the development of human capital as the company's primary competitive advantage in a fluctuating global market.
