Copper Intelligence Confirms High-Grade Mineralization in DRC Drilling

A 300-meter strike length at the Butembo Copper Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has yielded consistent copper mineralization, with all six initial drill holes intersecting significant deposits. The results, released by New York-based Copper Intelligence, indicate a high-grade profile near the surface across the exploration site.

The exploration program, which focuses on the eastern DRC, revealed an average vertical thickness of 7.6 meters grading 2.4% copper. Notably, hole BCDD-001 returned 7.55 meters of 5.39% copper starting from the surface, while BCDD-006 intercepted native copper and cuprite over a 29.1-meter interval. These findings suggest a robust geological system defined by a mix of copper oxides and sulphides, including chalcopyrite and bornite, with clear evidence of supergene enrichment.

Management is currently extending the drilling trend to test the continuity of high-grade zones along the strike. With the mineralized structure remaining open, the company has deployed additional resources to drill holes 8 through 11. Results from this secondary phase are expected by the end of August 2026. The project represents a key asset for Copper Intelligence (OTCID: CUAI), which maintains a strategy of aggregating high-grade mining concessions throughout the region.
