By integrating specialized hardware with AI, the company intends to transition fraud detection from reactive theory to active, real-time prevention.
LMnT Ventures managing partner Jeff Miller noted that return fraud has long been a hidden, multi-billion dollar drain on major brands, often forcing everyday consumers to bear the financial burden. He pointed to the founders' decades of retail experience as a key indicator of the company’s potential to solve a problem that has historically been considered intractable.
