Heal’s overhauls digital and physical retail infrastructure

British furniture retailer Heal’s has completed a major technological refresh, launching a revamped website alongside a company-wide deployment of Shopify POS across its store estate. The move marks a strategic shift toward a unified omnichannel presence, designed to bridge the gap between the brand’s online and physical shopping experiences.

Mark Hammond, Head of E-commerce at Heal’s, described the project as a collaborative effort involving several partners, including Swanky, NOVOS, and consultant James Gurd. According to Hammond, the integration of Shopify’s point-of-sale system is intended to provide the retailer with the necessary agility to accelerate its future omnichannel plans.

While the current launch represents a significant milestone, the company views this deployment as the foundation for broader digital development. The retailer’s internal teams played a central role in executing the transition, which aims to bring a more cohesive brand identity to customers across all touchpoints.
