The Ahlan Jordan platform serves as the nation’s first digital hub for inbound tourism, consolidating logistics that were previously fragmented. Users can browse packages lasting between three and eight days, which bundle hotel stays, local transportation, professional tour guide services, and entry permits for archaeological sites. A mandatory feature of these offerings includes accommodation in Petra, ensuring visitors have dedicated time to experience the ancient site.
Mamoun Hmidan, Chief Business Officer at Wego, emphasized that the collaboration addresses the growing demand for frictionless travel planning in the region. By providing a single official portal, the initiative aims to simplify access to diverse destinations ranging from the desert landscapes of Wadi Rum to the therapeutic shores of the Dead Sea and the urban center of Amman.
Ramzi Maaytah, Managing Director of the Jordan Tourism Board, noted that the digital expansion is part of a broader commitment to making the Kingdom’s heritage more accessible and rewarding for regional tourists. To drive adoption, the two organizations are launching a series of digital campaigns and editorial features designed to showcase the platform’s ease of use and the variety of experiences available within Jordan.
