CEO Peter Carr aims to capture a portion of the $12.5 billion air-to-water market by positioning the brand as a luxury, plastic-free alternative to traditional groundwater extraction. The company currently utilizes its proprietary technology to supply venues such as the Kaseya Center and Miami Freedom Park, with plans to broaden retail distribution across the Southeast.
Kevin Shannon, cofounder of Inflection Point, cited the company’s specialized technology and existing commercial footprint as key drivers for the investment. As a newly public entity, A1R water faces the challenge of scaling its infrastructure while competing in the established beverage category. The transaction follows a string of SPAC-led public listings managed by Inflection Point, which has previously taken companies like Intuitive Machines and USA Rare Earth to the public markets.
