Bed Bath & Beyond Appoints Jill Windrum to Finance Leadership

Omnichannel retailer Bed Bath & Beyond has named Jill Windrum as its new Chief Accounting Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer. The appointment marks a strategic push by the company to bolster its executive financial oversight and internal fiscal rigor as it pursues a more disciplined approach to its operational model.

Windrum brings nearly 25 years of experience to the role, having specialized in SEC reporting, M&A, and financial planning throughout her career. Her previous background includes serving in multiple CFO capacities at Maxar Technologies, where she oversaw large-scale business units and managed financial operations during the company's acquisition by Advent International. She also held a leadership position at DHI Group and began her career at KPMG’s National Office.

Marcus Lemonis, Executive Chairman and CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond, emphasized that the hire is part of a broader initiative to instill greater accountability across the organization. According to Lemonis, the company is focusing on strengthening its financial systems, capital allocation, and omnichannel economics to secure better long-term outcomes. Windrum is expected to play a central role in executing these objectives by leveraging her technical foundation and experience in public company finance.
