IM Cannabis Reports Sharply Lower Revenue and Mounting Losses

IM Cannabis Corp. posted a significant downturn in its financial performance for the first half of 2026, with revenue dropping to $16.3 million from $25.2 million during the same period last year. The company’s widening operating losses reflect ongoing challenges within its core markets in Israel and Germany.

For the six months ending June 30, the Toronto-based firm reported an operating loss of $3.8 million, a stark reversal from the $0.2 million loss recorded in the first half of 2025. This downward trend persisted into the second quarter, where the company saw a net loss of $4.4 million, or $0.47 per share, compared to a $0.2 million loss in the second quarter of the previous year.

As of June 30, the company held $1.6 million in cash, down from $2.7 million at the close of 2025. Total liabilities currently stand at $30.3 million, exceeding total assets of $24.7 million and resulting in a shareholders' deficit of $5.5 million. Management continues to navigate a complex environment, citing risks such as the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and the volatility of the medical cannabis sector in its primary operating regions.
