Lucid Diagnostics Reports $1.5 Million Revenue for Second Quarter

Lucid Diagnostics processed 2,770 EsoGuard tests in the second quarter of 2026, generating $1.5 million in revenue as the company expands its commercial footprint. The New York-based firm, which focuses on esophageal cancer prevention, is currently navigating the regulatory landscape while seeking broader Medicare coverage for its diagnostic tools.

The company reported an operating loss of approximately $14.3 million for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, with a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $14.7 million. Despite these figures, CEO Lishan Aklog highlighted significant operational progress, specifically the company's first laboratory benefit manager coverage policy for EsoGuard. This agreement, secured through Concert, establishes the test as a medically necessary procedure for patients meeting specific screening criteria.

Lucid maintains a cash position of $33.4 million, a slight decrease from the $34.7 million held at the end of 2025. Management continues to prioritize health economic modeling to demonstrate the long-term cost-effectiveness of its testing, aiming to accelerate adoption among health systems and the VA. The company is currently awaiting a draft Medicare coverage policy, which remains a critical milestone for its broader clinical strategy.
