The rankings reflect a significant shift in the hospitality market as travel demand for longer-term accommodations continues to climb. ECHO Suites, which opened its first property just two years ago, topped the list, followed by Hawthorn Extended Stay and WaterWalk Extended Stay. Mike Mueller, President of Extended Stay Brand Operations at Wyndham, noted that the results serve as a direct endorsement of the company’s strategy to offer distinct, purpose-built models for every market tier.
ECHO Suites has expanded rapidly, now boasting over 20 open hotels and more than 300 awarded contracts. Meanwhile, Hawthorn continues to leverage its midscale residential-style model, and WaterWalk captures the upscale market through its unique dual-purpose living concept. By integrating AI-driven booking tools and investing heavily in franchisor technology, Wyndham aims to maintain this momentum, providing developers with efficient, high-performance assets that cater to the evolving needs of modern travelers.
