A core component of this model involves social enterprise businesses in sectors like aerospace manufacturing, food service, and distribution. These operations provide employment to individuals with conviction histories, who now occupy over 60 percent of leadership roles within the organization. With more than 35 programs currently active across Washington state, the nonprofit produces over 900,000 aerospace parts annually while managing behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services. The organization argues that investing in workforce participation and stability reduces long-term public costs and strengthens community outcomes.
