Farah Ahmed Joins Volunteers of America Greater New York Board

Ahmed brings extensive experience in the acquisition, development, and financing of commercial real estate to the organization. She represents a diverse client base of investors, developers, and operators, a background the nonprofit intends to leverage as it expands its housing and wealth-building initiatives.

Volunteers of America – Greater New York has operated since 1896, currently managing over 70 programs across New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Westchester County. The organization provides essential health and housing services to more than 35,000 people annually, while simultaneously advocating for policy reforms to address systemic instability and homelessness.
