His primary mandate involves scaling internal systems to deliver faster, more reliable trading tools for users across 160 countries.
Group CEO Tamas Szabo noted that the appointment signals a strategic shift for the brokerage as it evolves into a broader fintech ecosystem. By prioritizing in-house development over third-party solutions, the company intends to offer more personalized experiences and deeper integration into digital asset markets. Fernandes will report directly to Szabo, focusing on building high-performance teams capable of supporting the firm’s aggressive expansion plans.
