National Battle of the Bands Returns to The Palm Beaches for 2027

Following a successful inaugural run, organizers are preparing to bring back the three-day celebration of HBCU marching bands, educational workshops, and community engagement. Executive producer Derek Webber noted that the event seeks to honor Dr. King’s legacy while expanding the cultural and economic footprint established during the previous year. Local officials, including Palm Beach County Sports Commission executive director George Linley, emphasized the event’s ability to utilize the region's infrastructure to host large-scale performances that transcend traditional athletics.
