Visiting Angels Marks Mid-Year Milestone with Leadership Shift

The leadership change, announced in June at the company's annual conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, places Parrish at the helm of an organization he has helped build since 2008. Founder and CEO Larry Meigs cited the need for leadership capable of maintaining trust across the company's vast network of franchise owners, caregivers, and client families as the primary driver behind the promotion.

The Scottsdale event also honored West Virginia caregiver Tiffany Moon, who was named 2026 Caregiver of the Year and awarded a $10,000 prize. This focus on individual excellence extended to the brand’s franchise network, where Robert and Marilyn Oswald of Kitsap County, Washington, received the Founders Award—the highest honor bestowed by the company for industry advancement.

Beyond personnel, the brand secured a sweep of industry accolades, including multiple Best of Home Care awards from Activated Insights and six distinct recognitions from Franchise Business Review, ranging from innovation to recession resistance. With over 600 locations now operating across the United States, Mexico, and the UK, the company is preparing for its autumn fundraising push for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, a cause that has benefited from more than $5.3 million in contributions from the network to date.
