Elucent Medical Taps Knowles for Surgical Device Production

The collaboration centers on refining the device’s design to ensure high-level reliability and scalability. By integrating Knowles’ engineering input during the development phase, Elucent worked to optimize material selection and production tolerances. According to Jeremy Klem, Vice President of Operations at Elucent Medical, this engagement allowed the company to bring their technology to market with greater speed and confidence.

Knowles produced the units at one of its ISO 13485-certified and FDA-registered sites. Jon Kiachian, President of MedTech and Specialty Audio at Knowles, noted that the teams worked hands-on to address performance and cost efficiency throughout the product lifecycle. This manufacturing shift is intended to establish a long-term foundation for future improvements to Elucent’s soft-tissue localization equipment.
