The initiative centers on the integration of Glob.AI, a technology model designed to learn from real-time fan data across all digital touchpoints. FIFA plans to leverage this system to bolster its FIFA ID, effectively creating a persistent digital thread that tracks fan preferences, whether they are engaging with the official website or the tournament application. Early pilot programs have already yielded a 20% increase in operational efficiency.
Beyond technical optimization, the partnership grants FIFA full ownership of the institutional knowledge and data generated by these AI agents, which are secured within a proprietary token vault. FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström stated the goal is to deepen emotional connections with global audiences through systems that adapt to individual needs. Globant CEO Martin Migoya emphasized that the human-assisted AI model is essential for maintaining the unpredictable, engaging nature of football while scaling services to meet the demands of a worldwide fan base.
