Amped Fitness to Launch First Ohio Location in Powell

The new site in Powell will introduce the brand's Amped Universe concept, which integrates strength training, reformer pilates, recovery zones, and entertainment under a single membership. By consolidating services that are typically siloed into boutique studios, the company intends to offer a more varied atmosphere for its members. The facility will feature specialized equipment, including pendulum squats and vertical leg presses, alongside unconventional spaces like a movie-equipped cardio area and dedicated rooms for podcasting or virtual meetings.

Eight thematic zones define the user experience, ranging from the performance-focused Amped Arena to the mindfulness-oriented Lunar Escape and the recovery-centered Azura Cove. CEO Travis LaBazzo emphasized that the expansion is designed to accommodate everyone from serious lifters to casual gym-goers. While specific construction timelines and membership pricing remain forthcoming, the company plans to release details on founding memberships and local hiring in the coming months.
