SISQUAL WFM Secures Contract to Modernize Norwegian Police Scheduling

Following a rigorous public procurement process, Portuguese technology firm SISQUAL WFM has been selected to overhaul the Norwegian Police’s workforce management infrastructure. The contract, signed June 22, pairs the software provider with local consultancy partner Devoteam to implement a system designed for complex, 24/7 high-security operations.

The new platform will replace legacy processes with digital tools for shift scheduling, capacity planning, and real-time operational oversight. By centralizing data on staff competencies, the Norwegian Police aim to improve resource allocation while maintaining strict compliance with national labor regulations. Implementation is scheduled to begin this autumn.

Frederico Magalhães, CEO of SISQUAL WFM, noted that the selection process was among the most thorough the company has navigated, underscoring the technical demands of the police force. Devoteam Norway will manage project execution, with CEO Jonas Höfde emphasizing that their role focuses on mitigating deployment risks. SISQUAL WFM, founded in 1992, currently manages workforce solutions for over 1.5 million employees globally, specializing in mission-critical environments.
