Multi Parts Solutions Enters Construction Market With HKX Acquisition

HKX has spent three decades refining the engineering of install-ready kits that enable excavators to utilize high-performance attachments like shears and rotating tools. The company’s technical niche lies in electro-hydraulic and CAN-based control systems, allowing for seamless integration into modern heavy machinery without triggering electronic error codes. By moving under the Multi Parts Solutions umbrella, HKX gains access to the parent company’s global sourcing, testing, and proprietary Sigma development processes.

Despite the change in ownership, the division will maintain its headquarters in Monroe, Washington, with Robert Burnett continuing to lead the existing team. CEO Brian Cohn stated that the firm intends to invest in the division’s product development and dealer network while preserving the service-oriented culture that has defined the business since 1993. Financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed, though the move provides MPS with a platform to expand its engineering footprint across new equipment manufacturers and specialized dealer groups.
