Huck’s Market hits $100,000 weekly milestone in delivery surge

Midwestern convenience retailer Huck’s Market has reached $100,000 in weekly delivery sales, a benchmark that underscores the success of its centralized digital commerce strategy. By consolidating fragmented operations through a partnership with Vroom Delivery, the 135-store chain has rapidly scaled its omnichannel reach across both first-party and third-party platforms.

The retailer’s expansion into digital sales includes integrated ordering via its Huck’s Bucks Bigg Rewards app and Godfather’s Pizza, alongside a presence on major marketplaces like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. According to Jon Bunch, Vice President of Digital Marketing, Technology, and Innovation, this shift toward becoming a digitally native operation has required deliberate investment in store-level infrastructure and back-end synchronization.

To support this growth, the company automated menu management and improved inventory systems, allowing stores to list thousands of items rather than hundreds. Brayden Peterson, Digital Marketing Manager at Huck's, noted that the company’s willingness to experiment with digital commerce early on has compounded into significant operational efficiency. The retailer is currently processing a volume of delivery business in three weeks that previously required an entire year to achieve.
