AI research startup Echovane secures $1 million in funding

Market research startup Echovane has raised $1 million in a funding round co-led by Titan Capital and Neon Fund to scale its automated research platform. The company, founded by former product leaders from Amazon, Stripe, and Gojek, aims to replace manual research processes with autonomous AI agents that handle end-to-end studies.

The capital injection will finance the expansion of Echovane’s AI agent infrastructure, its multimodal research capabilities, and a global network of participants. While the founders initially focused on creating an AI moderator for consumer interviews, they soon realized that recruiting, fieldwork, and data analysis remained significant bottlenecks for research teams. By shifting into an execution-layer model, the platform now manages the complexity of multi-market studies, including niche recruitment and quality assurance.

Co-founder Smriti Gupta noted that effective research requires more than just better interviews; it demands a system capable of handling various methodologies, from unobtrusive observations to longitudinal tracking. Investors at Titan Capital backed the team for their focus on turning research from a recurring variable expense into a compounding infrastructure. By encoding client context into the system, the startup seeks to provide faster, more consistent insights that sharpen with every completed study.
