Founded in 2024, the company differentiates itself by operating as a sovereign hyperscaler, providing dedicated infrastructure that remains physically and operationally isolated. This design caters to clients requiring strict data sovereignty, offering environments where advanced AI training occurs without the risks associated with shared public clouds. CEO Sami Issa noted that the firm has already secured $6.2 billion in contracted revenues, with $1 billion of that capacity currently active and delivered to customers.
The financing arrives as the firm executes a massive scaling strategy. Global AI targets 1 gigawatt of critical capacity by 2029, a goal supported by its vertically integrated model that covers everything from land acquisition and energy sourcing to advanced liquid cooling and GPU-dense deployment. By maintaining control over the entire hardware stack, the company aims to provide a turnkey solution for sensitive national and enterprise workloads that cannot rely on standard commercial cloud providers.
