The agreement positions the college alongside elite athletic institutions by naming BSN SPORTS as the exclusive supplier for uniforms, footwear, and equipment. For Dallas College, the move is a strategic effort to boost recruiting visibility and signal a shift toward a more competitive standard in community college sports. Executive director of athletics Lynn Nabi described the deal as a clear statement of intent for the program’s future trajectory.
BSN SPORTS, a division of Varsity Brands, will manage the transition for the college’s various sports teams. Todd Northrop, senior vice president of the firm’s collegiate division, noted that the partnership intends to mirror the championship-winning culture already established by the college’s coaches and athletes. The institution has maintained a strong track record of success, producing 17 championship teams and over 80 All-Americans within the last five years. By equipping its diverse student body with professional-grade gear, the college hopes to further solidify its reputation as a pipeline for talent moving toward four-year universities.
