King Technology Expands Manufacturing Footprint to St. Peters

A 208,000-square-foot facility in St. Peters, Missouri, has earned King Technology the 2026 Business Attraction Project Award. The expansion marks a strategic shift for the Minnesota-based water care innovator as it transitions its warehousing and distribution operations to a larger regional hub designed to sustain the next half-century of growth.

The project, recognized by the Economic Development Council of St. Charles County on August 5, serves as the centerpiece of the company's long-term scaling strategy. Mike Noer, President and CEO, described the investment as a move toward becoming a centennial organization. While the site currently functions as a central hub for fulfillment and supply chain management, the company plans to integrate manufacturing operations in subsequent phases.

Founded in 1978, the family-owned business maintains its headquarters in Minnetonka, Minnesota, but sees the Missouri location as a critical asset for serving its national dealer network. Carson King, Vice President of Operations, cited the region's workforce and community alignment as key factors in the site selection. Local officials view the move as a validation of the area’s economic climate, with a formal ribbon-cutting celebration scheduled for late September.
