The Rockville-based silicon and software IP firm secured ten new licensing agreements during the quarter. Among these, a strategic deal with a major global AI and computing platform company for Ceva’s NeuPro-M NPU IP stands out as a key expansion into hardware-software integrated environments. CEO Amir Panush noted that these results underscore the rising demand for Physical AI, as customers increasingly prioritize specialized silicon to manage complex connectivity and processing needs.
Financial discipline contributed to a significant turnaround in profitability. Non-GAAP operating income reached $3.1 million, a sharp rise from the $0.8 million reported in the same period last year. Operating margins widened to 11%, up from 3% a year ago, reflecting improved royalty trends in smartphone and automotive AI programs. The company also expanded its market reach by launching RealSpace Elevate, a spatial audio technology certification for PC gaming, while continuing to supply high-volume U.S. semiconductor firms with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth Low Energy solutions.
