The health and beauty sector currently represents a significant pillar for Landsec, contributing 10% of total retail sales across its properties with a 12.8% year-on-year growth rate. By securing moida, the landlord aims to solidify its position as a destination for brands seeking direct engagement with a demographic highly attuned to global beauty trends.
Opening in mid-August, the store will stock a curated range of labels such as Beauty of Joseon, Dr. Althea, Tirtir, Medicube, and Biodance. According to Clare Dutton, Portfolio Director at Landsec, the move is a direct response to the brand's potential to connect with the city's large younger population. This addition follows a busy leasing period for the shopping centre, which has recently integrated tenants including Footasylum, LEGO, and Lane7.
