Statesville Motorcycle Rally Turns Back the Clock to the 1970s

The Freedom Revival, running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1226 Morland Drive, serves as a bridge between historical preservation and modern riding culture. While the Blue Ridge Chapter of the AMCA oversees a judged competition across eight categories for vintage machines, the event also invites public participation through a People’s Choice award. Beyond the mechanical displays, the atmosphere will be set by live performances from JB & The 70's and period-themed costume contests.

While the focus remains on heritage, the dealership is leveraging the gathering to highlight its current inventory, specifically two pre-owned CVO Street Glide models. Attendees can inspect a 2016 edition priced at $18,399 and a 2019 Milwaukee-Eight 117-powered unit listed for $20,999. With support from local vendors like the American Legion Post 106 and Prism Supply Co., the event aims to consolidate the regional riding community, offering a snapshot of Harley-Davidson’s evolution from the raw aesthetic of the seventies to modern touring performance.
