Massachusetts Deploys State-Funded Medication Management Platform

The rollout follows a rigorous development process involving the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services and several state agencies, including the Department of Public Health and the Department of Mental Health. This partnership aims to replace outdated workflows with a digital interface designed specifically for behavioral health and residential care settings. By funding the platform, the Commonwealth seeks to lower the administrative burden on staff while reducing medication errors across community care environments.

Impruvon CEO Justin Amoyal noted that the initiative provides essential modern tools for MAP-certified specialists and residential providers who previously lacked standardized digital support. Beyond the software itself, the state is covering all training and onboarding expenses to ensure a transition for frontline workers. According to Chief Customer Officer Brit Keller, the focus remains on enhancing staff retention and clinical outcomes for the populations served by these agencies.
