While sales climbed on the back of favorable foreign exchange rates and volume mix, the firm struggled with higher material costs and increased customs duties. Jeffrey Edwards, chairman and CEO, noted that while oil price volatility created anticipated inflationary strain during the quarter, the company expects to recover most of these incremental costs throughout the second half of the year.
Operational efficiency remains a core focus, with the company generating $16.3 million in free cash flow, a significant turnaround from the $23.4 million outflow recorded in the second quarter of 2025. The company secured $118.4 million in net new business awards during the quarter, including $36.6 million tied to hybrid and battery electric vehicle platforms. Management has maintained the midpoint of its full-year guidance for sales and adjusted EBITDA, adjusting the range bounds to reflect improved visibility into the remainder of the fiscal year.
