Under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, the court will appoint a lead plaintiff to oversee strategy and counsel selection. While there is no minimum financial loss required to apply, courts typically favor applicants with the most significant holdings. Those who do not seek this role remain class members and retain their rights to participate in any eventual recovery without taking immediate action. The firm Levi & Korsinsky, which is managing the case, notes that the process operates on a contingency basis, meaning investors face no upfront costs or personal legal fees.
