Digital Turbine Revenue Climbs 27% as AI Strategy Takes Hold

Digital Turbine posted $166 million in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, a 27% increase compared to the same period last year. The Austin-based mobile platform attributed the growth to a surge in its App Growth segment, which benefited from new artificial intelligence tools and deeper advertiser engagement.

The company reported a GAAP net loss of $3.2 million, or $0.03 per share, a significant improvement over the $14.1 million loss recorded in the first quarter of 2026. Non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA reached $42.5 million, marking a 69% year-over-year jump. CEO Bill Stone highlighted the performance of the App Growth Platform, which grew 56% as the firm leveraged AI to optimize ad inventory and improve yields for its network of partners and advertisers.

Looking ahead, Digital Turbine remains optimistic about its trajectory. The company issued fiscal 2027 guidance projecting total revenue between $650 million and $670 million, with non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA expected to land in the $145 million to $155 million range. Management noted that the integration of AI-driven tools continues to attract new partners seeking higher returns on advertising spend, signaling a shift toward more enriched end-user experiences.
