The 2026 funding focuses on three primary pillars: assembling 65,000 hygiene kits for communities in Las Vegas, Macao, and Singapore; supporting The Drop By Drop Project’s water resiliency grants; and providing essential capacity-building resources for the foundation’s ongoing operations. Since the collaboration began, the partners have diverted over 667,000 pounds of waste from landfills and distributed 4.6 million bars of soap to vulnerable populations.
Shawn Seipler, founder and CEO of Clean the World Global, noted that the longevity of this support allows for deeper integration, ranging from crisis-response kits to long-term water management. The initiative also fuels innovative research, including rainwater harvesting and coastal ecosystem restoration in Sands' operating regions. Ron Reese, senior vice president of global communications, highlighted the program as a centerpiece of the company's culture, noting its unique status as the only nonprofit engagement in which all of the company’s global regions participate.
