DYCM Solar Secures Funding to Scale Domestic Module Production

With over 1.2 gigawatts in pending orders, DYCM Solar Modules Holdings has closed a major investment round led by Octo Capital, Audrose Capital Partners, and Antarctica Capital to fund a new 150,000-square-foot California facility, positioning the firm to meet rising demand for American-made, FEOC-compliant energy infrastructure.

The capital injection supports the initial rollout of over one gigawatt of annual production capacity, with the company’s first HJT module line slated for commercial shipment by the fourth quarter of 2026. This expansion arrives as federal policy increasingly ties clean energy tax credits to supply chains free of prohibited foreign control. By meeting these strict regulatory standards, DYCM offers developers a path to secure the 10% Domestic Content Bonus under the Build America, Buy America Act.

Sriram Das, CEO of DYCM, emphasized that the investment directly addresses a critical market need for reliable, domestic solar components. Investors are betting on the intersection of surging electricity demand—fueled by AI and data infrastructure—and a structural shortage of compliant domestic energy products. For partners like Octo Capital, Audrose, and Antarctica, the move represents a strategic push to solidify a domestic supply chain that is increasingly viewed as a pillar of both economic growth and national security.
