J.F. Lehman & Company Sells Environmental Remediation Firm ENTACT

Private equity firm J.F. Lehman & Company has offloaded ENTACT, a national provider of environmental remediation and geotechnical construction services, to Ridgemont Equity Partners. The transaction marks the conclusion of a six-year ownership period during which the firm aggressively expanded its specialized service portfolio and national reach.

Since acquiring ENTACT in 2020, JFLCO focused on scaling the business through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. By integrating USA Environment and White Lake Dock & Dredge, the company bolstered its technical expertise in radiological remediation, environmental dredging, and marine construction. These additions allowed the firm to handle increasingly complex projects involving soil, sediment, and water for both public and private clients.

Glenn Shor, Chairman of ENTACT and Managing Partner at JFLCO, noted that the company successfully broadened its service offerings and strengthened its market position during their tenure. While the specific financial terms of the sale remain undisclosed, the transition to Ridgemont Equity Partners signals a new chapter for the environmental services provider. Brown Gibbons Lang & Company and AEC Advisors acted as financial advisors for the sale, while A&O Shearman provided legal counsel to the company.
