TCL Expands NXTPAPER Tablet Lineup With 12.2-inch A1 Plus Model

The A1 Plus features a 12.2-inch 2.4K display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, designed to mimic the tactile feel of paper while maintaining color accuracy. Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform, the tablet supports up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with room for expansion up to 2TB. TCL has emphasized productivity, equipping the hardware with Android 16 and a suite of AI-driven utilities, including Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and specialized writing and translation assistants.

A core differentiator remains the proprietary NXTPAPER display, which utilizes hardware-level DC Dimming and a Nano Crystal Shield to reduce eye strain. Users can toggle between Ink Paper, Color Paper, and Standard modes using a dedicated physical key. The tablet is housed in a metal unibody chassis with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, backed by a 10,000mAh battery capable of 33W fast charging.
