BlueAlly Acquires GigaNetworks to Bolster National IT Security

Atlanta-based IT services provider BlueAlly has acquired Miami-based GigaNetworks, a firm specializing in enterprise network security and infrastructure. The move aims to merge BlueAlly’s national operational scale with GigaNetworks’ deep technical expertise, creating a unified platform focused on streamlining complex security deployments for corporate clients across the United States.

The integration brings together two firms with nearly two decades of experience in the IT sector. While BlueAlly provides a broad suite of services ranging from cloud modernization to DevOps and managed infrastructure, GigaNetworks contributes a specialized focus on security planning, system evaluation, and bespoke technical support. According to BlueAlly Chief Revenue Officer Ian Daum, the acquisition was driven by a strong cultural alignment and a shared objective to simplify security postures for their combined client base.

David Mendenhall, CTO of GigaNetworks, emphasized that the deal grants their existing clients access to a significantly wider portfolio of solutions and national resources. Founded in 2008, GigaNetworks has built its reputation on a client-centric model involving hands-on system implementation and training. By joining forces, the two companies intend to offer a comprehensive partnership that covers the entire IT lifecycle, from initial assessment and design to ongoing management and threat protection.
