Multiplier Disrupts EOR Industry with Public Price Transparency

For years, companies hiring internationally have faced unpredictable costs hidden behind opaque surcharges and FX markups. Multiplier, the Global Exchange for Work, is challenging this industry standard by publishing its complete Employer of Record pricing structure directly on its website, promising total cost predictability for finance and HR teams.

The EOR sector has long relied on a model where headline rates are inflated by unexpected onboarding, termination fees, and compliance surcharges. This lack of clarity often leaves founders and HR leads unable to forecast global hiring bills accurately, which stalls cross-border growth. Multiplier aims to reverse this by offering two flat-rate tiers, Core and Growth, designed to strip away the guesswork.

Sagar Khatri, CEO and co-founder of Multiplier, argues that the current industry pricing is broken by design to inflate profits. By owning its employment infrastructure end-to-end, the company avoids relying on the third-party vendors that typically pass hidden markups to the buyer. This technical foundation allows the firm to delineate between mandatory local taxes and its own service fees, ensuring clients see exactly where their capital is allocated.

Alongside the release of these rates, the company is deploying interactive tools to assist employers in evaluating their true operational costs. Businesses can now calculate international employment expenses directly on the company website, moving away from the traditional model that requires mandatory sales calls for basic fee information.
