Jungbunzlauer Taps Marcus von Twistern to Lead Operations

Von Twistern arrives in Basel with over 25 years of international leadership experience, having navigated complex production environments across Germany, China, Italy, and the United States. He joins the firm from UPM, where he served as Vice President of Operations. His career history also includes significant tenures at Evonik Industries, where he managed performance and production governance on a global scale.

CEO Bruno Tremblay highlighted von Twistern’s background as a key asset for reinforcing the company’s manufacturing footprint. For his part, von Twistern emphasized a focus on maintaining consistent quality and reliability, specifically targeting the expansion of operations throughout North America and Europe. The appointment comes as the 150-year-old company continues to manage its extensive portfolio of natural ingredients across more than 130 countries.
