She described the move as a conscious choice to trade the high-paced demands of the London fashion industry for work that yields a more direct, localized impact.
Simultaneously, the retailer is expanding its digital footprint through a new partnership with Uber Eats. The service, now live across 33 food stores in East Anglia, allows customers to order groceries and household essentials for rapid delivery. This integration complements existing e-commerce channels, including Just Eat and Snappy Shopper. Simon Dryell, Chief Commercial Officer at East of England Co-op, stated that the collaboration is driven by a commitment to convenience, ensuring that members can access necessary products quickly while adapting to the evolving needs of the communities they serve.
