Adam Driver Scales Up in Brooklyn Heights with $11.5M Condo Purchase

Adam Driver is doubling down on his Brooklyn roots, spending $11.5 million on three adjacent units at the historic Standish building. The move follows the actor’s decision to list his previous nearby residence for $5 million, signaling a desire for more expansive living quarters for his growing family.

The new acquisition spans approximately 3,500 square feet within the 12-story Beaux-Arts structure, which was originally erected in 1903 as a residential hotel. By securing these contiguous sixth-floor units, Driver is following a well-trodden celebrity path of merging multiple spaces to create a custom home. The Standish remains a popular destination for A-listers; Matt Damon famously set local real estate records in 2018 when he purchased a penthouse spread there for $16.74 million, while John Krasinski and Emily Blunt previously owned a full-floor unit in the building.

Beyond his real estate ventures, Driver continues to balance high-profile professional commitments. He is set to star in James Gray’s crime thriller Paper Tiger, which opens the 64th New York Film Festival on September 25. Despite persistent rumors regarding his potential entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, studio head Kevin Feige recently noted that the actor has consistently declined such roles, describing their recurring meetings as a long-lived tradition. Driver also has the upcoming drama Misty Green, directed by Chris Rock, slated for a 2026 release.
