UNIT AI Secures $12 Million to Scale Warehouse Automation

UNIT AI has secured $12 million in funding to accelerate the deployment of its modular, AI-driven platform for e-commerce fulfillment and returns. The investment, co-led by Prologis Ventures, Dynamo Ventures, and Ground Up Ventures, aims to help retailers bypass traditional infrastructure barriers by enabling enterprise-grade automation in weeks rather than months.

Founded by industry veterans Guy Glass and Avihou Barkay, the company targets a market segment that has historically struggled with the cost and complexity of facility overhauls. By offering a system that integrates into existing environments, UNIT AI seeks to improve labor productivity and throughput for retailers and third-party logistics providers. Current partners include firms such as Barrett, ShipCalm, DaVinci, and Carter.

Glass noted that the industry's next breakthrough lies in accessibility rather than building larger systems. According to Todd Lewis, Senior Vice President at Prologis Ventures, the platform addresses a critical operational pain point: the ability to scale and adapt to fluctuating customer demands without requiring a complete redesign of warehouse facilities.
